The good stuff: The hotel was clean with a friendly atmosphere. We checked in at night, so it wasn't very busy and the staff was very helpful answering my questions. Breakfast had a variety of foods and drinks to choose from and was well stocked. There is a huge parking garage with free parking for hotel guests, so that was wonderful.
The not so great: we reserved a single king bed room but upon check in were informed they only had rooms with double queen beds remaining unless we wanted to wait an hour, so we were assigned one of them. When we got to our room, we noticed the shampoo and soap hadn't been restocked, so we tried calling down to the front desk but our phone didn't work. I ended up just walking back down and asking for the things we needed. The pool area was not stocked with towels so we had to again ask the front desk for some.
For the price, we got a nice place to stay for the night and friendly staff, but this hotel could benefit from being properly stocked in the rooms and pool area.
the breakfast Hostess was amazing. She would greet every guest as if they were royalty. She would converse with the guest in various languages. She is so valuable to this Hotel. the entire staff was helpful and happy. One of the best hotels ever!
I really do not have anything negative to say about this hotel. I was 100% satisfied with my stay
This hotel is very nice, has a modern city vibe, and shows no signs of excessive wear like other reviewers said. It honestly looks newer and more updated than any hotel I've ever stayed in this price range in my life. Front desk staff is helpful and friendly, and there's free parking across the street if you want to opt out of the garage fee. There's even a shuffleboard table in the lobby. Bonus!
A hotel that ran out of soap? What other cleaning supplies are they lacking? Elderly patrons susceptible to viruses beware. Got checked in and noticed there was no soap in the entire establishment, both in the rooms and public areas. Called the front desk and the staff said they ran out of soap, but they were expecting a shipment any day. There is also a commercial restaurant on premise. No soap. Seems like a health violation. If they can’t get their inventory straight on basic hygienic necessities that is a bad sign. They obviously need some better inventory management.
The lobby is fine, but the hallways are fairly dark and the walls and doors show significant signs of wear. The rooms are similar, but have the added benefit of being neglected between customers. Our bedding was dirty and we found a staggering amount of hair in the shower - all the more surprising because there were fresh towels in the shower, but a handful of hair hanging from the towel rack. I have no idea how that could have been missed, so I have to assume it was deliberate. There's no way I could, in good conscience, recommend this to anyone unless it was an absolute emergency.
I had arrived early in the morning after a stressful international flight and Michael who did the overnight check-in was an absolute treasure. He was so welcoming and it was a lovely way to start my trip. Loved the room, the views of downtown and the mountain range. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We booked a King bed and instead got a Queen and were told they couldn’t do anything about it. There was no soap or toilet paper in our bathroom. We were told breakfast was done at 10 and the staff started taking food to the back at 9:17. The staff was okay, service was mid. Not a place we’d return to :/
